A real adventure is in store for today. With an early start to avoid the heat we will undertake a scavenger hunt by helicopter around the remote temples scattered throughout northern Cambodia. At each location you will have to solve a puzzle or undertake a challenge in order to pick up an item of essential ingredient for the final cooking challenge later in the day.
Located 130 kilometres from Siem Reap, Koh Ker was built in the 10th century and functioned briefly as the Khmer Empire’s capital between 928 and 944 A.D. The style of the Koh Ker temple is different from any other temple in Cambodia and has more of a resemblance to the ancient pyramids of Egypt. Partially overgrown by the forest and inhabited only by birds, this temple and its surroundings are an exceptional experience. It is here that we will undertake our final challenge under the shade of a tree, cooking up some delectable treats with a local flavour with our trained chef before heading back to Siem Reap.
