Day 1
Animals indigenous to this region include yellow buff-cheeked gibbons (very rare), douc langurs (another rare animal), tarantulas, gibbons, toucans, kingfishers and various monkeys!
Head up north, around an hour to the Sesan River where you will cross the river to begin a gentle trek through the jungle on a carefully pre-planned path.
Your special wildlife ranger lives and works in this region, so he knows the freshest treks and latest animal spotting.
The pace is slow, as your aim is to spot and take in as much nature as possible, as your ranger points to you the various edible plans, shrubs and bugs together with the important of flora and fauna.
Before dusk, you will pitch your tent by the streams and begin to make your dinner together over a campfire before retiring to your tent to sleep!
Day 2
Days in the jungle always start early, as the Gibbons wake and make a singing sound to one another to call in a new day!
Laugh at the funny sounds, and begin to break down your camp and make a simple local breakfast. We will then venture to the high trees, to see the Gibbons in action as they swing from canopy to canopy, almost begging you to play. It is an engaging sight with a beautiful sound, and it’s sure to bring lasting memories of your time within the midst of the Cambodian Jungle.
Return on a gentle trek back to the vehicles, on a new path while enjoying the fairly gentle pace.
