Experience Details

Your adventure begins at the break of dawn from your hotel in Siem Reap. We travel out to the site where you will board a boat out in to the flooded area and begin looking for some of the worlds most threatened species. Key bird species of global significance that can be spotted here are: Spot billed Pelican, Milky Stork, Painted Stork, Lesser Adjutant, Greater Adjutant; Black headed Ibis, and Oriental Darter and Grey-headed Fish Eagles.

We will navigate the channels and enter various landscapes such as a flooded forest before heading out onto the great Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia’s largest Lake. Along the way take in local life along the waters edge including floating and stilted villages. A visually fascinating day out on the water.
